Whether you use public transport or travel by car, transport is one of the key factors when choosing the right area to live in. Check the stops and public transport lines in the area.

Research the kindergartens and schools in the neighbourhood

Whether you have children or not, especially when it comes to buying - don’t forget to research the kindergartens and schools in the neighbourhood. Are there any? Are they close to your home? Is there high demand for the respective institution? These are just a small part of the questions you should look into in order to make your future daily life as easy as possible.

Take into account how close your workplace is

Although the workplace is something temporary and not permanent, think about how convenient the location would be if you travel to a certain point. Carefully consider how you will get to work. Many people would never trade their car for the city bus/metro, but sometimes that is the faster and cheaper way to get around. Most large cities in Bulgaria have a well-developed public transport system.

Think about your preferences - a quieter, calmer area or a more central, livelier one

When it comes to buying or renting a home, buyers’/tenants’ preferences for an area fall into two types - those who love central areas and those who prefer more secluded neighbourhoods. Don’t be mistaken into thinking that quieter, more remote areas do not offer the conveniences of central ones. Today, the layout of most cities in the country offers all kinds of amenities to the residents of the various residential complexes and neighbourhoods in the cities.

Don’t overlook the infrastructure

An important factor in feeling good in the area where we live is the infrastructure itself. Whether it is transport, social or information infrastructure, parks and gardens, take the time to look around to make sure that everything you need in your daily life is within „arm’s reach“.
